Used in a wide variety of dimension stone and sculpture applications, used for counter tops, electrical panels, hearthstones, figurines, statuary.
In cosmetic industry, used for aerosol makeup bases, aerosol deodorants, cosmetic sprays and powders, face powders, baby powders, foot powders, sprays, use in blushes, eye shadows, antiperspiration and finishing powders.
Talc is used as a color additive in drugs, a high temperature lubricant and in as a filler in plastics.
In foods, talc is used as an anticaking agent, coating agent, lubricating and release agent, surface-finishing agent, and texturizing agent.
Talc is also used as a pigment in paints, varnishes, rubber; as filler for paper, rubber, soap; in fireproof and cold-water paints for wood, metal and stone; for lubricating molds and machinery; as glove and shoe powder; and as an electric and heat insulator.
